Certificate II in Health Support Services

This Pre-Vocational Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) resource is aligned to units of competency from the Health Training Package specifically to Certificate I in Health Support Services. It covers workers who provide support for the effective functioning of health services. These workers do not provide direct care assistance functions such as assisting other staff with the care of clients. This is an entry-level resource and is suited to apprenticeship pathways. This resource is for people who work or want to work in a hospital or other health care setting in a support role. A wide range of electives is available to reflect the varied functions of these roles including cleaning, laundry, food services, grounds maintenance and health administration work.
