Certificate III in Disability Work
This Pre-Vocational Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) resource is aligned to units of competency from the Community Services Training Package specifically to Certificate III in Disability Work. Workers in this area carry out activities under direct or regular supervision to maintain personal care and/or other activities of living for people with a disability in the community and/or residential facilities. These workers: carry out activities related to an individualised plan; report directly to a supervisor; and are not responsible for other workers. This resource is for people who want to work with people with disabilities in the community and/or in residential facilities. You will carry out activities related to the maintenance of an individual's personal care and/or other activities of daily living. You will also develop skills and knowledge in meeting personal care needs, behaviour support, individual health and emotional well-being, OHS, the empowerment of people with disabilities and community participation and inclusion.
