Entry Requirements

There are no limitations to entry based on age, gender and physical ability, social or educational background. However, all learners must meet a minimum standard of English language competence.

Measures of determining English language competence are:

  • A minimum score of (academic) International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.5 in all macro skills. The IELTS tests should be no more than 12 months old.
  • An IELTS equivalent score of a minimum of 6.5 in all macro skills.
  • Applicants must have, as a minimum, successfully completed year 12 or equivalent, including language-rich subjects.
  • Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) at or around level 4 across all learning, reading, writing and oral communication core skills.

Entry selection is conducted by a pre-interview language task and interview.
