Work Experience

In our course Applied Communication Skills, although not compulsory, work experience is designed to assist the student to use English language, literacy and numeracy to network in society. Students are encouraged to gain work experience for a minimum of 8 hours per week that will enhance their learning on the program.

The TESOL course that we deliver requires a minimum of 6 hours practical experience which must be observed and reported on by a suitably qualified person. Clients are expected to arrange their own practicum with the assistance of their Trainer.

Testimonials

"I use MW's Community Services LLN Resources to support my training programs in Community Services, Aged Care, Youth Work and Disability Work. These resources are particularly effective when working with Indigenous learners, culturally and linguistically diverse clients (CALD) and other learners with identified LLN support needs. I strongly recommend MW's Vocational LLN Resource range as a wonderful training tool."
