I learned how to critically analyse and effectively apply adult literacy and numeracy teaching practices. This equipped me with strategies to support diverse learners, assess their literacy and numeracy needs, and implement tailored teaching approaches to enhance their skills.

I gained a deeper understanding of adult learners diverse needs and effective strategies to enhance their language, literacy and numeracy skills.

By completing the two units: TAELLN801 & TAELLN802, I have built on pre-existing knowledge of Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy. I feel better equipped to cater to the diverse learning needs of my students.

This course has helped me prepare for my role as a Trainer and equipped me with important knowledge for adult learners. I know have different strategies for adult learners and know the importance of catering learning strategies to various needs.

I gained a great understanding of Adult LLN teaching/learning practices and the relevant frameworks. I now have the fundamental theoretical knowledge to support the training & assessment practice. I look forward to completing the further units of the TAE80113 – Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy & Numeracy Practice.

This course provided me with a strong foundation in understanding and applying ACSF and CSfW. I gained valuable insights into assessing LLN skills, identifying learning needs and tailoring support strategies to different learners. It also helped me develop confidence in using assessment tools effectively, which will be beneficial in both training and workplace settings.
